Bo’ness Care Home is a purpose built home where we pride ourselves on providing the highest standard of nursing care, based around each person’s individual needs. Whatever the need, care is delivered with patience, kindness and understanding. We prepare a personal care plan for each resident, which is regularly reviewed to make sure your needs are met.
Residents, and where appropriate their families, are involved as far as is practical in the decisions regarding their care. Emphasis on all aspects of care is the primary concern of the Manager and, together with the experienced team of qualified staff, all adhere to rigorous standards with internal audits and checks.
Our home is set in its own private and mature grounds with a large car park and gardens which are graced with a traditional band stand. We are situated close to the town of Bo’ness within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport.
Facilities
We offer accommodation in twenty-seven rooms, most of which are single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. All our rooms have en-suite facilities. The home features two lounges with televisions and a quiet sitting room. A separate dining room where residents can join the company of others at meal times is also an important feature of the home.
The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist, and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements. A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home with the aid of our life style leader and carers. Visitors are welcome at any time and in addition all our facilities are extended to close friends and family.
We place an emphasis on nutritious, well presented food to meet all our guests’ preferences. Our Catering Manager and Cooks prepare a wide range of home-cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.
